The Royal Thai Embassy in Ankara has confirmed that the belongings of "Hlun Solo" are fully intact, and has pledged to pursue all the facts surrounding his death in Georgia to the fullest extent, leaving no related issue unaddressed.
On 30 July 2026, the Facebook page of the Royal Thai Embassy in Ankara published a post stating: … The following is additional information regarding the case of Mr. Borwontat Pengsuk, also known as "Hlun Solo":
Embassy officials have received confirmation from local police that all of Mr. Borwontat's belongings remain intact. The Embassy will pursue the full facts of the matter, leaving no related issue unaddressed. In the meantime, all parties are requested to respect the privacy of the family in accordance with their wishes and their ongoing proceedings. The Embassy will continue to coordinate closely with the family on this matter.
The Embassy expresses its gratitude to all Thai nationals in Georgia for providing useful information in support of the search, and for their excellent cooperation and coordination with the Embassy.
