MGR Online International is the English and Chinese edition of MGR Online (ผู้จัดการออนไลน์, mgronline.com), one of Thailand's most-read news organisations. We report Thai news for readers outside Thailand at en.mgronline.com (English) and china.mgronline.com (Chinese).

Our coverage is organised into four sections — Thai Politics, Economy, Society, and Culture & Life — and every story originates with MGR Online's Thai newsroom.

How we work

Every story on this site begins in MGR Online's Thai newsroom. Our international desk selects the stories that matter to readers following Thailand from abroad, translates them into English and Chinese, checks names, figures and quotations against the Thai original, and publishes only after an editor has reviewed the result.

We do not aggregate or rewrite reporting from other newsrooms. Nothing is added that the original report does not support, and when a story is updated in Thai, the article here is updated with it and carries the revision date.
