Ang Thong Province, together with relevant agencies, has set the date for the "Chao Phraya Pasak OTOP FEST 2026" event under the concept of "Connecting Cultures, Creating Sustainable Value," to serve as a stage for uniting communities from 6 upper-central provinces: Ang Thong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Lopburi, Chai Nat, Saraburi, and Sing Buri. The event will be held from 24–28 July 2026 at Imperial World Samrong shopping mall, Samut Prakan.
The "Chao Phraya Pasak OTOP FEST 2026" aims to promote marketing, add value to community products, and disseminate the culture and local wisdom of communities across all 6 provinces. The event will feature a wide variety of interesting activities, including 2 main OTOP community product zones comprising more than 50 shops bringing together outstanding local products — from delicious traditional foods and high-quality processed goods to handicrafts that reflect the wisdom and craftsmanship of the communities.
In addition, there will be arts and cultural performances staged to create an entertaining atmosphere and to celebrate pride in Thai cultural roots, such as a children's likay performance from Ang Thong Province, which is regarded as a distinctive highlight, as well as mini-concerts by nationally renowned artists including Karn Thotsana, Pao Paowali, and Tao Phusin, who will bring joy and entertainment to all attendees.
Another highlight of the event is an occupational demonstration and workshop activity by local entrepreneurs, who will share knowledge, pass on techniques, and reflect the way of life of each area, offering the public and tourists an opportunity to learn and experience local wisdom up close. There will also be an exhibition showcasing product and packaging development under this project, beautifully decorated to reflect the identity of each province, serving as a special corner for visitors to capture memorable moments throughout the event.
On Friday, 24 July 2026 in particular, there will be an official opening ceremony at Imperial World Samrong shopping centre, Samut Prakan.
During the opening ceremony, attendees will be treated to a beautiful cultural performance that impressively conveys the stories and identities of the communities from all 6 upper-central provinces.
